I was a bit exhausted after all the concerts and this is the only concert that I sketched on Saturday. Courtney Barnett did a great concert at Pitchfork stage and was one of the best experiences of this festival. I tried something different this time and didnt use the Bic pen that I am used to use. Finally I painted it digitally.

The last concert I went on Friday was The Growlers in Vice stage. You could talk about good music this group plays, or its kindness with their fans (the singer came down to greet the audience before the concert), but should be noted the great the atmosphere at the concert. Once again I was in the front row enjoying his music, one of the best experiences of the festival. And despite being night I did one of the drawings that I like (the large one).

Definitely one of the best concerts in Vice stage. Quite a sight to see Ranaldo play, once again, his guitar with a violin stick and in the front row! I made many drawings from this amazing concert. For now I leave here my favorite, but I'll upload more soon.

This is one of the drawings I'm most proud and another great surprise on Friday: Slowdive, at Sony stage. I didnt know this group, but luckily I went with a friend to see them and we had the chance to be at the pit of the stage to see and sketch the concert :)

This was my first concert on friday. I had just come to the festival and had a few hour before the first concert I was going to sketch, so I went for a walk and found out this concert on the Ray-Ban stage. That was a great surprise and I loved the music they were playing. I sat on the other side of the stands, on the grass, enjoying and experimenting with color pencils.

Ok to be honest this concert was a gift to me. I love Arcade Fire and was really excited while I was sketching and watching them from the pit of the Sony stage with photographers!!!
The concert was a spectacle of color and music. And the best of all, they played Wake Up, one of my favourite songs that the crowd was singing just before the concert started.

Fortunatelly I found this moment on youtube ;)

This, its time of Future Islands, in Pitchfork Stage. I only have one finished sketch of this concert (and another that I may upload soon), and that is because it was the most difficult for me. It was dark and I was among the dancing crowd a bit far from the group. Anyway here are the results.
